It sold me, actually when I find out about it the first thing I thought was "Maybe Sony is different, maybe they'll respect their low-end equipment" No, Sony hasn't changed. Nothing very special about these headphones, however for this price, it is the best available. Might have liked a better quality product from Sony instead of these cordless stereo headphones. Many people attempted to defend it by saying you will hear it if you have an excellent system, or what ever, but the truth is, it does not do anything whatsoever. So after a little considerable searching at Amazon and reading the reviews I selected these! I even tried to place a little fabric underneath the band to alleviate pressure, but that did not help a lot at all.
The primary disadvantage they have is the band presses painfully into my scalp before long. There you go, a pleasant new set of ear muffs for the chilly winters.
I'd recommend 100% to get this if you only need some inexpensive and high quality headphones you can use Anytime. I purchased mine for $24. The specs say 3 feet so I was pretty disappointed with these cordless stereo headphones.
For the price of these, they're very good. The diameter of the cord is very thick and the cord is extremely long; I believe 11 feet. I've only used them throughout the house so I have not experienced a great deal of outside sound with them on.
