Good deal for the cost. Based on the cost and they are extremely comfortable, particularly if you were glasses.
I wear these headphones for 9-10 hours daily at the office and they are great. The weight of the headphones rests on top of your head which makes it really feel a lot more heavy than it is really. Granted, I love loud songs but you can hear exactly what I'm hearing clearly! Might have liked a better quality product from Sony instead of these cordless stereo headphones.
They're just a little bulky and so are most likely not great for travel but they work perfect for me to listen to music inside my office, great work.
Would be nice it it had balance control. They are doing the job but it lacks a lot sound. These headphones are actually fantastic, and thinking about the price - some twenty bucks - and it's well worth the cash! The ear pads have a "cracking" sound when they're moved. I usually use them both at home and at the office. They separate film and songs sound and convey totally clear audio. This works wonderfully. Wearing headphones more than thirty minutes led to a headache from painful pressure points on top of my head.
The bass, the treble, the highs and lows all come through obviously. I additionally have a set of b headphones, which also sound incredible, and also the MDR-XD200 headphones sound every bit as good. Sound quality is excellent, but it is a mess of headphone wire. These headphones are wonderful. The noise-blocking ability is of course compromised by the somewhat free ear pads. Remember that the cord on these is actually long.
Specifically for the cost, I'm pleased with what I have.
For home or personnal use these will deliver. I do not truly agree with the "discomfort" critiques. They don't feel solid whatsoever, and seem super easy to break. But frankly, if that's your primary purpose, why would you use circumaural headphones to begin with? He uses them for music purposes and stated the quality of sound really was great. These appear big and bulky but they're very light. Truly great headphones for the value, but can not seem to get them to not make my ears hurt while I put on my glasses.
