House Springs: Having just been ditched by his fianc' Driver, British actor Firth heads to the U.S. and falls for Graham. Then, wouldn't you know it, Minnie shows up. There are vigorous behaviors from everyone, although not enough chuckles for a romantic comedy. Based on the novel New Cardiff by Charles the Graduate Webb. Cast includes Colin Firth, Heather Graham, Minnie Driver, Mary Steenburgen, Oliver Platt, and Blunt Collison. (92 minutes, 2003)
Trading Mom: It's about three siblings who couldn't stand their mom. Spacek cast a spell which makes her-and all memory of her vanish. Here is a flat and inanimate story with meager production values. Cast includes Sissy Spacek, Anna Chlumsky, Aaron Michael Metchik, Asher Metchik, Maureen Stapleton, and Merritt Yohnka. Airport Seventy Seven: All the stereotypes and stock characters are trucked out for a different made-to-request catastrophe myth, not poor as these objects go: Stewart's secluded luxury plane is undermined and sinks in the sea, pushing challenging save try. Lemmon brings conviction to his role as devoted guide. They're Playing With Fire: What starts off as rehash of Brown's Secluded Lectures swiftly, turns into ill, gross horror film. Danning plays a college English professor tempts Brown into helping her with an ability of 'Mama and make off with my inheritance' structure with the exception of that somebody else is slaughtering everybody in the school. Not even Danning's formidable nude scenes are rationale enough to sit through this slop. Cast includes Eric Brown, Sybil Danning, Andrew Prine, Paul Clemens, and K. T. Stevens. (96 minutes, 1984)
Hannah and Her Sisters: (1986) C-106 Allen strikes gold as he studies some usually fascinating and obsessive New Yorkers whose lives become entangled. Superbly cast with Woody in top form as Farrow's hypochondriac ex-spouse. The illustrated Man: Youthful drifter Driva meets tattooed guy Steiger, looking for the bizarre lady (Bloom), who "illustrated" his whole body. The drifter sees futuristic stories in three of the depictions, most of which include megastar Steiger and, or Bloom and Drivas. The film is adisheartening, dull-paced adaptation of tales from Ray Bradbury. Cast includes Rod Steiger, Claire Bloom, Robert Drivas, Don Dubbins, Jason Evers, Ton Weldon, and Christie Matchett.
