How to Play Guitar Tabs in Constant Time

By Jeff Stevens

Guitar Tablature is a type of notation that will help you to learn the guitar in a constant time. It is like playing the guitar hero, in which, it makes you a rock star as you want to be.

Tablatures are made to make guitar playing an enjoyable one. With it, you can avoid those complicated things in learning the basics of music.

It is just simple to play guitar tabs. It can be acquired with just some readings and practice. Guitar tablature notation has six horizontal lines that symbolizes the strings of your guitar. The highest line represents the highest pitch and the lowest would be for lowest pitch opposing to the placement of your guitar which has the lowest pitch located on the first string and the highest on the last. It is the first step I learning how to play guitar tabs.

Lines on the tablature have designated notes. The first line indicates E in a high pitch, and the second would be a B followed by G, D, A, and another E in lowest pitch. These will be the notes that you are going to hit in playing the guitar. Numbers that symbolizes frets are places after the notes. You can also see symbolic figures of a 0 which indicates that no finger should be placed on that string, and an X that denotes string should wither be placed with a finger nor be strummed.

The only disadvantage of learning the guitar tabs is that you will not learn the right timing in playing the guitar. It only offers learning that will only be applied in playing guitar. But if that is only your vision, then you should go with the guitar tabs. It is simpler and hassle free to learn. And if you consider to go deeper with music, you could always take up lessons in music.
