By Zack Jones

The answer is yes. Legal movie download do exist but unfortunately there relatively difficult to find. By comparison, these days it is very easy to find legal computer games downloads and still fairly easy to find music downloads. However, finding movie downloads online is pretty difficult.

Even if you do find a site which sells movie downloads and is completely legal, there may be some grave shortcomings. The disadvantage is that you will often have will be poor quality recordings, slow download speeds or unreasonably high prices.

Before you start looking for legal movie downloads on the Internet, you need to be prepared to do a little research first. Firstly, it is very important to know what to avoid.

Many people turn to downloading pirated movies. You have no doubt heard about the growing rate of piracy on the Internet that is partly caused because the lack of satisfaction of the demand that people want to be able to download movies online from the comfort of their own home. Though many people pirate movies in order to avoid paying for them, it is also just as often used as a convenience feature.

You can use iTunes and various other services to buy and download movies online. This tends to be considerably cheaper than walking into the high street store or buying them online in getting the company to deliver them to you by post. It is also much more convenient for many people and this is why it is becoming so popular.

The big problem is however, when it comes movie downloads, there really is not a big choice of resources. Until the movie companies actually do something about the problem, then piracy is going to continue to skyrocket and it is hard to blame the people who download pirated movies when there is no other choice in many cases but to go down to your high street store and hope that you can get what you want.

With genuine sites, you will be provided with direct downloads from that site. You will have to pay per movie or a monthly subscription or perhaps bow, but either way it will very likely be considerably cheaper than the other traditional options. What's more, you will actually be able to get what you want.

One of the common problems when it comes to buying movies is that you can't find the move you want, especially if you go into your high street store, where it is very unlikely that they will have older movies or ones that are less popular or less well known.

We can only hope that in the foreseeable future, the movie industry will actually start doing something about it and start to satisfy this high demand. The demand certainly isn't going to go away, so something needs to be done.
