Wireless Outdoor Speaker Advantages

By Patrick Dalleringer

People are inclined towards melody as far as history is concerned. As man's earliest ancestors, cavemen have left behind markings showing the importance of music in their daily lives. The Renaissance period in Europe has gifted the world with musical geniuses like Beethoven and Mozart. Modern day artists also continue to bring entertainment with their vocal cords and inspiring, as well as thought-provoking, lyrics.

It's a great way to get a better understanding of a country's culture and experience the same things they do. While you may think music is about the same things, individuals usually write from the heart from past experiences.

It doesn't matter if you prefer solemn praise, worship hymns, country ditties, hard rock, soft rock, R&B, jazz, rap, hip hop, indie, or any other out there, because some song has touched your life in one way or another.

Knowing this, companies in the music industry continues to bring state of the art technology to the market. As music lovers we couldn't be happier.

One of the best gadgets out there today is the wireless outdoor speaker. It has become a popular commodity and brought huge profits to the industry. If you haven't had the opportunity to enjoy one of these yourself, it's important to understand all the benefits attached to a wireless outdoor speaker.

First, it is portable. You can bring it anywhere with you without much hassle. If you are on vacation and want to stay in a secluded area of a beach resort while soaking up on the sun, you can still indulge to your musical whims by listening to your favorite artist. Conversely, if you prefer an environmentally-related sound, all you have to do is attach the speaker to a player with nature-inspired pieces. You can also use the wireless outdoor speaker when you hold barbecue parties in your backyard. This will be an appropriate mood-setter to get everyone into a joyous mood. Having a loud and upbeat music will make the atmosphere livelier. With a situation like this, you might get even the wallflowers to dance like there is no tomorrow.

You are also freed from the hassle of bringing so many wires that almost always end up in a tangled heap. This is a priceless convenience on your part.

Second, it has the same specifications as a regular built-in speaker. It offers the same maximum volume level so you won't have to worry that the sound it emits will get drowned by a crowd's noise. It has also excellent sound quality that you can be proud of. Even at a far distance, the sound is clear and static noise is maintained at a minimum. With regards to its durability, it is not about to get left behind. It can last for many years for as long as proper care and maintenance is prioritized. Having a regular yearly check up with a service contractor in your neighborhood will keep your speaker in tiptop condition.

However, when it comes to a wireless outdoor speaker, the best benefit of all is the price. Many times consumers have the misconception that something of this nature costs much more than it actually does. Once you get this out of your head, the rest of the process is easy. All you have to do is figure out if this what you've been looking for all along.

While these are the best features in the beginning, you'll notice a large amount of advantages the more use it. In the end we've given you plenty of reasons to smile when it comes to owning your own. However, you have to take action before you can enjoy everything a wireless outdoor speaker has to offer.

Heavy Metal Viking Style: Amon Amarth

By David Glisan

Throughout its history, heavy metal has done well to avoid pretense. Bands sung about topics like slaying dragons, chasing women, and partying. Then, at some point during the 1990s, the cancer of nu metal started to metastasize in the heavy metal genre. Bands started singing about relationships and their feelings in an effort to gain mainstream popularity. Were not talking about an obligatory power ballad here and there"some bands sung about nothing else than how miserable they were and how sad they were over a failed relationship.

Fortunately, the cancerous tumor in the body of heavy metal is now in remission and the tide is turning back. Part of the cure has blown across the Norse sea like a cold winter monsoon and has now reached American shores. Amon Amarth is a band from Tumba, Sweden founded in 1992 who are the latest"and most commercially successful"proponent of a genre known as Viking metal. As the name implies, bands from the Viking metal genre sing about important topics such as sailing, lusting for adventure and conquest, furious winds and treacherous seas. Viking metal bands are too busy metaphorically conquering and pillaging to worry about such trivialities as their feelings, let alone grooming themselves.

Amon Amarth took their name from a location in J.R.R. Tolkiens Middle Earth, and their name means Mount Doom in the Elvish language of Sindarin. Mount Doom would have been a decent name in itself, but its roots in Tolkiens sword and sorcery classic makes it all the better. Their first demo release, The Arrival of the Fimbul Winter, set the thematic tone for their work to come. Drawing musical inspiration from bands such as Bolt Thrower and their Viking metal predecessors Bathory and Enslaved, who in turn took their cue from the great American band Manowar, Amon Amarth plays their own unique style of melodic death metal. While they are hesitant to claim the Viking metal mantle for their own, they take most of their lyrical content from Viking history and Norse mythology.

The band signed with Metal Blade Records in 1998 and their popularity has skyrocketed worldwide. 2006s With Oden On Our Side earned the band headliner status in North American and has made them one of the most popular metal acts in the US.

Amon Amarth recently extended their deal with Metal Blade records and released their latest album in September 2008 called 'Twilight of the Thunder God'. In a very metal marketing move, the band promoted the release of their new CD with an 8 page comic book in magazines all across Europe based on Norse mythology.

Heavy metal is gaining strength and resuming its powerful greatness under the marauding sound of Amon Amarth. The band tours constantly, and their powerful live show has earned them a reputation as one of the 'must see' concert acts. In 2006, they released a DVD entitled 'Wrath of the Norsemen' that brings their live experience to home TV screens.
