It wasn't that long ago that a trip to the corner video shop was the most convenient way to get a movie. You can now save a trip to the video store and download movies right off the internet. Just about any movie every made can be attained through a movie download site now. Check out these samples.

Communion: Mental thriller with Walken well cast as author Whitley Strieber, who finds himself visited by odd beings. Does he need a psychiatrist or an exorcist? A tad long in the tooth and the dramatic scenes between Walken and spouse Crouse don't really work. The movie still has some good moments. Cast includes Christopher Walken, Lindsay Crouse, Frances Sternhagen, Andreas Katsulas, Terri Hanauer, Joel Carlson, and Basil Hoffman. (107 minutes,'77)

Rocky V: Rocky has retired from boxing. A brain injury from his last fight makes continuing impossible. He becomes a trainer, and his first pupil, Tommy Gunn, leaves him because he won't move him up quick enough. After winning the title with another trainer, Tommy wants to fight Rocky to gain respect. Since Rocky isn't allowed in the ring, they will have to do it as a street fight.

Doulos The Finger: Delightful round-the-globe venture based on the real tale of a l6-year-old who cruises to every conceivable port. The movie was generated by Gregory Poke and filmed on location. Cast includes Joseph Bottoms, Deborah Raffin, John McLiam, and Dabney Coleman. (105 minutes,'74)

The Strange Door: Laughton camps it up in this adaptation of a Robert Louis Stevenson tale of a sadistic squire and his nefarious plans. Karloff has a thankless role as a servant identified Voltan. Cast Charles Laughton, Boris Karloff, Sally Forrest, Richard Stapley, Michael Pate, Alan Napier, and Paul Cavanagh. (81 minutes,'51)

Sgt. Bilko: Master Sergeant Ernie Bilko has a moneymaking plan for every occasion at Fort Baxter, Kansas. His better half Aykroyd, looks the other way till the sergeant's long ago arch enemy Chief Thorn Hartman turns up looking for a way to nail Bilko to the wall. Martin continues to be a first rate comic and has the support of a highly adept comedy cast. Cast includes Steve Martin, Dan Aykroyd, Phil Hartman, Glen Heady, Daryl Mitchell, Max Casella, Chris Stone, Richard Herd, and Travis Tritt .(94 minutes,'96)

Diggstown: Friendly yam in regards to a con-artist just sprung from detention center sets his sights on a boxing match with boxer Gossett because he need to make a big paycheck. The 2 megastars are extremely good, even if the script is contrived. Cast includes James Woods, Louis Gossett, Jr., Bruce Dern, Oliver Platt, Heather Graham, Randall "Tex" Cobb, Thomas Wilson Brown, Duane Davis, Willie Green, and George D. Wallace. (97 minutes,'92)

The Hitchhikers Guide To the Galaxy: Arthur Dent is about to see his house get bulldozed down for a new road coming through. His best friend is unconcerned, and takes him to the pub for some beers. Then he shocks Arthur by telling him that he is an alien, and that the Earth will be destroyed in a few minutes, as a hyperspace bypass is being built. Arthur has a moment or two to decide to go with his friend, as they will hitchhike on a passing space freighter. He decides to go, and this starts an incredible adventure.

The Sinister Urge: Devoted cops Duncan and Moore set out to bash the "smut film racket," which is run by a brassy blond who inscribes with a 4-foot quill pencil. One of Wood's least known works illustrates with complete conviction how photographs of fat ladies in their underwear are the principal cause of adolescent delinquency. Cast includes Kenne Duncan, Duke Moore, Carl Anthony, Jean Fontaine, Dino Fantini, and Jeanne Willardson. (75 minutes,'60)

Mystic River: Friends since their youth Dave, Jimmy, and Sean have a secret they have kept. Dave was kidnapped and sexually assaulted for days. Now in their adult live Jimmies' year old daughter has been murdered. Lots of evidence points toward Dave as the killer. Is Dave the killer?
