Borderline came out in 1950. Odd thriller comedy in which L.A. policeman Trevor tries to accumulate proof contrary to cunning drug smuggler Burr when mixing with hard gentleman MacMurray in Mexico. Starts out favorably, although eventually slows down in ridiculousness. Burr makes a lucid scoundrel. The cast includes Fred MacMurray, Claire Trevor, Raymond Burr, Jose Torvay, Morris Ankrum, and Roy Roberts.

The Meteor Man from 1993. Townsend plays a cautious, nerdy school teacher with a terror of heights who gets hit by an abnormal bright green meteor that turns him into a superhero. Fantastic "Superman in the Hood" story, full of good values, but very few actually hilarious minutes. Cast includes Robert Townsend, Marla Gibbs, Eddie Griffin, Robert Guillaume, James Earl Jones, Roy Fegan, and Bill Cosby.

Sing, You Sinners from 1938. Wagering Crosby couldn't face accountability, regardless of jabbing his sibling MacMurray. Three siblings with diverse interests have a singing act. Includes Wesley Ruggles, Bing Crosby, Fred MacMurray, Donald O'Connor, Elizabeth Patterson, Ellen Drew, and John Gallaudet.

Good Times was released in 1967. Back while the harmonizing duo was still considered wacky, they made this entertaining little film, with Sonny daydreaming about their potential film roles and he and Cher harmonizing "I Got You Babe." Cast includes Sonny and Cher, George Sanders, Norman Alden, and Larry Duran.

Sugar Town - Amusing variety of LA life characterizing a handful of characters whose lives fit together - a musician would-be who'll do anything to get ahead, an uptight lone woman who allures the unsuitable men like a magnet, and a band made up of cleaned-up '80s rock megastars, to name a few. Made on a shoestring, although sharp and well recognized; excellent cast contains a variety of actual musicians. Cast includes Ally Sheedy, Rosanna Arquette, John Taylor, Jade Gordon, Michael Des Barres, Lucinda Jenney, and Martin Kemp.

The Sinister Urge from 1960. Dedicated cops Duncan and Moore set out to bash the "smut film racket," which is run by a garish blonde. Illustrates with complete sincerity how photographs of overweight ladies clad in merely their underwear can be a primary cause of adolescent wrongdoing. Cast includes Kenne Duncan, Duke Moore, Carl Anthony, Jean Fontaine, Dino Fantini, and Jeanne Willardson.

They Only Kill Their Masters hit the screens in 1972. Incredible cast in troubling modem-night whodunit set in coastal California town; tries for Daniel Hammett sensation, doesn't relatively make it. Policeman Garner tries to solve murder of pregnant female, with formidable Doberman pinscher figuring prominently. Not bad, but a disappointment. Cast includes James Garner, Katharine Ross, Hal Holbrook, Harry Guardino, June Allyson, Peter Lawford, and Ann Rutherford.
